Halloween Bash

HCS Volunteers for the Community

HCS participated in the Hands on House 5K Run.
The girls were in charge of a water table at the half way mark. It was a chilly day, but we kept ourselves busy. We had to make gatorade and then keep the table filled at all times. We handed out cups to the runners as they passed by. We were told there were 500 registered runners !!!! Thanks for the help girls !!!!

The U.S. Finals in Virginia Beach, VA

Kiersten and Alexa in perfect sync
Alyssa with a WOW kick full
Katlyn with her pretty scale

HCS competed in their last competition for the 2010-2011 season at the U.S. Finals in Virginia Beach. Probably the best performance of the year. As a coach there was nothing to complain about......Then I am called to the judges table. We had an illegal stunt that I thought was cleared, but it wasn't. We took a 5.2 penalty and lost 1st place by 4.1 pts. I never cried so hard as a coach. HCS deserved 1st place and another National Title. I learned that the support from my girls and parents was worth more than the trophy that weekend. Trust me, I still wanted that National Trophy for the team, but I walked away knowing we did are best !!!!!!

HCS ended the season with a great record. Thank you ladies for respecting the sport and putting everything you had into the routine. I can only take you so far and it's up to you to do the rest. I am blessed with a great team and I am blessed that you want the win just as much as I do:)

How sweet, another National title, but this time in Ocean City, Maryland. Reach The Beach is a favorite competition for HCS! We introduced our Dance Team Triple Threat and place second. Hello, that's 2 bids to the U.S. Finals in Virginia Beach, VA.
Katlyn placed 1st overall in the solo division and took home a $500.00 check
Katlyn and Danielle placed first in the duo division
Alix placed 1st in the tumbling.
our Stunt team took 3rd over all.

For a coach all these trophies say one thing.....WE ROCK !!!!!!!!!

National Champions!!!

I ♥ MY CRAZY HCS VARSITY
Check out these jackets !!!

OH YEAH, HCS brought home gold in Atlantic City, NJ. Gold meaning a National Title !!!!! We competed in 3 different categories: Stunt, Pyramid, and Team. All our hard work paid off. We competed against teams that had 26-36 members to our 14. The saying "great thing come in small packages", is absolutely correct. We won jackets, shoes, banner, a very cool trophy, and bragging rights. I am so proud of my girls !!!!!!!

Extreme Cheer and Dance in York

HCS took 2nd place, but we still looked great !!!!! We took home tumble and jump awards. Though there was a little panic waiting for Kelli to finish the SAT tests. The competition was kind to let us go last when she flew through the door :)

Santa's Coming

HCS celebrated Christmas........We started with painting pottery at the Pottery Works, exchanged gifts, then off to Tropical Smoothie for dessert and munchies. We had fun. Sara though turned purple by the end of the evening. Purple nail polish broke and pretty much covered her hands. Thank goodness it was a pretty purple and matched our shirts:)
