Choreography Camp

It's that time of year again!! HCS Varsity at choreography camp. Kinsey came back and created and AWESOME routine for us this year. These girls learned an action packed routine in 3 days totaling 21 hours of cheerleading!!!!

HCS Varsity Cheer Camp

Our 11th annual cheer camp took place in June. We had 48 campers in all !!! This is the biggest fundraiser of the year for HCS Varsity. These little girls came ready to cheer and never stopped moving. They learned a dance, stunting, and many chants. Not to mention all the fun games we played. Ships and Sailors is their favorite. Thank you to all the girls who participated and thank you to HCS for being Junior Coaches. For a short while they learn what I go through being their coach :)

HCS VARSITY 2010-2011 TRY OUTS

HCS VARSITY WILL BE HOLDING THEIR 2010-2011 SEASON TRY OUTS BEGINNING MAY 3RD 2010. PRACTICES WILL BE HELD AT THE MOUNTVILLE CHURCH OF THE BRETHEREN ON CLAY STREET (across from the old Mountville Elementary School). WE WILL PRACTICE MONDAY - FRIDAY 6:30- 8:00 PM. TRY OUTS WILL BE SATURDAY THE 8TH AT 9:00 AM.

WE WILL HAVE CHEER SIGN UP AND INFORMATIONAL MEETING SUNDAY MAY 2ND AT 6:00 PM AT MOUNTVILLE CHURCH OF THE BRETHEREN.

YOU MUST BE ENROLLED IN HEMPFIELD HIGH SCHOOL OR PRIVATE SCHOOL AND IN 9-12 GRADE BEGINNING AUGUST 2010.

Try outs for HCS Varsity 2010-2011 season

HCS Varsity will start a new season beginning with the first try out practice on May 3rd 2010. Practice will be at the Mountville Church of the Bretheren on Clay Street, ( across from the old Mountville Elementary School). The practice schedule will be Monday-Friday 630-8pm. Try outs will be Saturday the 8th beginning at 9:00 am. We do understand that this is HHS Prom night, but will be done by noon. An informational meeting will be posted soon. The day and time has not been established. Hope to see a great turn out, and create another successful team !!!

One more competition to end the season.

Danielle and Katlyn competed as a duo at the American Cheer and Dance Competition on April 3rd 2010. They took 1st place !!!! It was also Todd's 40th Birthday. A great finish to a great season.

Celebrating HCS

We celebrated the HCS 2009-2010 with our annual Banquet at the Four Season Golf Course. The team voted for their peers and gave awards to Carly for Best Attitude, Angie for Most Dedicated, and Katlyn for Most Spirited. The coaches awarded Kristie/Frankie for Most Improved, Alyssa/Courtney for best attitude, and Katie for Most Versatile. Alix gave 2 special awards to Danielle and Kelli for helping her all season. Tanya B. made amazing photo albums for the girls. As a tradition we watch a slide show of the seasons pictures to remember all the good times and each girl gets a copy. We lost 2 four year seniors, Angie and Sarah. We will miss them and wish them well on their new journey.
